The Schwalbe Magic Mary Evolution in the Super Gravity variety is part of the newest stage of development for Schwalbe’s Evolution Line mountain bike tyres.

This tyre for adrenaline junkies has long been popular in the Schwalbe universe. Now it has been equipped with the “Super-Gravity” casing, specially designed for its intended use, and comes with four-layers under the centre tread: an Apex insert at the sides and a chafer placed directly against the bead combine to offer additional protection against punctures and grinding at the rim. The proven SnakeSkin insert, providing excellent cut protection, isn’t just built into the side walls, but also along the entire surface.

In addition, Schwalbe relies on a foldable bead core and an improved tubeless mounting. The “Super-Gravity” tyre is also significantly lighter than Schwalbe’s “Super-Downhill” tyre and can be used anywhere from Trail to Enduro, even Freeride and Downhill, depending on requirements and preferences.

Magic Mary’s profile features especially strong shoulder knobs which ensure excellent cornering traction. The tyre also wins points with its aggressive and open profile, as well as special V-grooves, which help each knob to better bite into the ground, for even more grip. The angled flat knobs on the centre tread also result in lower rolling resistance. Thanks to the versatile ADDIX Soft rubber compound you can rely on the well-designed intermediate profile in dry as well as wet conditions!

This makes the “magical Mary” an almost perfect all-rounder for all Downhill and Enduro riders – on almost any ground and in almost any conditions.

Tip:
With its gripping tread pattern, the Schwalbe Magic Mary can be used on either the front or rear wheel. If you are looking for a tyre combination with somewhat less rolling resistance, Schwalbe recommends combining the Magic Mary on the front wheel with the Big Betty (product code 2306305) on the rear wheel.
