Schwalbe HYBRID Johnny Watts Plus Radial Clincher Tyre

The HYBRID Johnny Watts Plus is a versatile and robust tyre for your e-mountain bike or e-SUV bike. As is usual with Schwalbe, the ‘Plus’ stands for particularly good puncture protection.
 
Closely spaced central tread blocks form an almost continuous tread surface, enabling the tyre to roll smoothly on tarmac and cycle paths. The tread pattern widens towards the shoulders. Large side lugs enhance traction off-road and grip when cornering. Fine slats improve the interlocking with the terrain.
 
Not only does this tyre have a few mountain bike features on the surface, but this version also features a radial carcass from the MTB sector, which increases the tyre’s contact patch by around 30 per cent at the same air pressure to ensure more grip and comfort.
 
To provide puncture protection, the Double-Defence construction combines a 3 mm-thick GreenGuard insert beneath the tread with SnakeSkin fabric on the sidewalls. GreenGuard protects against punctures, whilst the SnakeSkin fabric provides additional protection for the tyre sidewalls.
