Rose Bikes is opening a new brand store right on Hamburg’s Binnenalster. In a space of around 500 square metres, just a stone’s throw from the Town Hall, the Bocholt-based bicycle manufacturer guides visitors through the experience categories of its bike portfolio — from Race through Adventure and Adrenaline to Urban Mobility — in a clean, minimalist display design. Group rides and events for Hamburg’s cycling community take place at the on-site coffee bar. On Saturday 24 May, Rose will celebrate the opening of its store.

The shop embodies the brand’s guiding principle, ‘Experience Cycling’: the bike manufacturer focuses on the many individual perspectives and experiences centred around cycling. At Ballindamm 33, Rose Bikes presents its range of road bikes, gravel bikes, mountain bikes, urban bikes and e-bikes in a curated display across approximately 500 square metres. Visitors can put 75 bikes from a separate test fleet through their paces on site. The spacious cycle path in front of the shop on the banks of the Alster makes this possible without any hassle, despite the central city-centre location. The range of bikes is complemented by a selection of clothing and other accessories.

 

In a room enclosed by glass walls, customers collect their bikes whilst the shop team carries out personalised adjustments and offers additional tips and assistance. Right next door is the shop’s own service workshop, which also stocks a range of essential spare and wear-and-tear parts.

The coffee bar in particular, which serves as a hub for community events, emphasises the brand’s approachability. “We’re absolutely delighted to be able to create a central meeting place in Hamburg that’s open to everyone, no matter how experienced you are on a bike,” explains Sebastian Bomm, Director of Experience and Managing Director of Rose Digital. “As in our other brand stores, the main focus here is on inspiring people to discover cycling as a means of personal expression, encouraging them to develop their own individual approach to cycling, and minimising the barriers to entry into the world of cycling as a whole.”

On Saturday 24 May, Rose is hosting an opening event featuring various rides starting at 2.00 pm. Afterwards, guests can round off the evening with the Rose team and the ride leaders at a relaxed get-together.
