As a resistant lightweight, the Tubo-CX/Gravel ultralight tube by tubolito is made for fast-paced cross-country chases on wider tyres. The robust plastic tube rotates with low rolling resistance on your cross bike on and off the road. What’s more, it compensates for the additional weight of more grippy all-round tyres. The installation is very easy.
So if you don't want to convert to tubeless, you can take tyre performance to a new level with the Tubo polymer tube. Besides the noticeable advantages in weight and rolling behaviour, the tested puncture resistance is twice as strong compared to standard inner tubes. However, even if a mishap happens, you can get the seamless lightweight tube ready for the road again quickly by using the Tubo-Patch repair kit (product code: 2311781).
As a spare tube with minimal pack size, the orange tube fits into any pocket, no matter how small.

Tip:
With a width of up to 40 mm, the Tubo-CX/Gravel can of course also be used for the tyres of hybrid bikes to reduce weight while at the same time increasing the resistance of the tube.

The Tubo cannot be repaired with standard vulcanising repair kits. When using a tyre sealant, the manufacturer does not guarantee for the sealing.

Generell einigermaßen gut zu montieren. Aufpumpen etwas unpraktisch bei wenig Druck wegen fehlender Kontermutter. Ich war überrascht wie dermaßen besser das Rad läuft im Vergleich zu handelsüblichen Butylschläuchen. Allerdings wie in vielen Bewertungen geschrieben, Ventilansatz teilweise undicht. 1 Schlauch war dicht, 1 nicht.

Super leicht und den Rollwiderstand etwas minimierend sind die Tubo CX toll zu fahren und hervorragend zu transportieren. Von der Haltbarkeit gut, jedoch nicht ganz so gut wie Pirelli Smartube.

Ich habe den Schlauch für knapp 30 Euro gekauft. Einmal zur Probe aufgepumpt und am Übergang vom Schlauch zur "Ventilröhre" war bereits ein Loch vorhanden. Eine fehlerhafte unsaubere Verarbeitung. Das geht für einen solchen Preis (völlig überteuert) gar nicht, da muß alles passen.

2 Löcher nach dem Montieren auf der Felgenseite auf einem neuen Laufrad, mit neuem Reifen und ohne Werkzeug montiert. Beim 2. Schlauch problemlos.

Vor einigen Monaten bestellt und heute eingebaut. Bereits nach 2 Stunden entweicht am Ventilansatz Luft. Das Ventil ist hier nicht richtig mit dem Schlauch verklebt. Ich habe den Schlauch auseinander geschnitten und die Fehlerhafte Stelle begutachtet. Das Ventil ist nicht komplett verklebt!!! So etwas darf bei so einem teuren Produkt nicht passieren. Ich bin maßlos enttäuscht! Der zweite Schlauch im Vorderrad hält noch die Luft. Ich habe aber Angst, dass ich bei der ersten Ausfahrt auch mit diesem Schlauch Probleme bekomme und überlege daher ihn gegen einen altbewährten Schwalbe-Schlauch zu tauschen. Gegen eine Panne durch Dornen, Glassplitter, etc. ist man machtlos. Aber gegen Materialpfusch kann man etwas tun. Daher: Finger weg von diesen Schläuchen! Anmerkung: Diese Problem mit dem Ventilansatz tritt anscheinend immer wieder auf und ist kein Einzelfall!

Bei der Montage ist Vorsicht geboten. Wenn er drauf ist, hat man seine Ruhe vor Platten ( was ich so zumindest nach einigen hundert Kilometer sagen kann)
