Selle Royal Ellipse Athletic Unisex Saddle City/Urban

With sporty the Ellipse Athletic bike saddle from Selle Royal, you don't have to do without the necessary seating comfort on your speedy city bike. The unisex saddle is ideal for riders who adopt a sporty slightly forward-leaning riding position on their bike. As part of the Ellipse model series, the slim urban saddle has been designed for an active urban lifestyle to offer you a relaxed riding experience from the very first moment, both on fast short trips int the city and on regular commutes.

Therefore, the anatomically shaped comfort saddle comes with a central cutout, which provides targeted relief for the perineal area and reduces potential pressure points. To obtain a comfortable seating experience, the saddle is equipped with Royalgel padding, which absorbs pressure, distributes it evenly and thus avoids pressure points. The Ellipse Athletic is also equipped with shock-absorbing rubber bumpers to ensure that speedy journeys over cobblestones, kerbs or potholes don’t turn into torture.

In addition to the comfort features, Selle Royal has also equipped the sporty cut city saddle with useful features for everyday use. Thanks to the Royal Vacuum technology, the weatherproof saddle is rainproof. It also has a double-layer cover on the sides, which makes it more resistant to abrasions that could occur when leaning your bike against a wall, for example.

The Ellipse Athletic not only offers outstanding comfort qualities, but also proves to be a loyal and robust companion on every journey.

Technologies:

• ROYALGEL™:
Saddles padded with Royalgel impress with their high seating comfort even on longer tours. The gel pad absorbs pressure, distributes it over the saddle surface and thus provides the right support.

• ROYAL VACUUM:
Selle Royal's Royal Vacuum technology ensures that the saddle is 100% sealed and waterproof, even when exposed to heavy rain and extreme weather. This stops moisture from seeping into the precious Royal Gel.

• DOUBLE-COVER SIDE PROTECTION:
Double-layer material on the sides of the saddle increase resistance against abrasion in busy everyday life. This means your bike can also be leaned against a wall without having to worry about any damages.

• ERGONOMIC HOLE:
An anatomically shaped cutout in the centre of the saddle helps relieve pressure on the sensitive perineal area and prevent numbness caused by pressure points and lack of blood flow.

• ELASTOMERS:
Flexible elastomers between the saddle rails and the saddle surface effectively absorb smaller bumps. The shocks that come from the road when riding over obstacles are no longer transferred to the spine.

• INTEGRATED CLIP SYSTEM:
The integrated clip system is positioned between the saddle rails and allows you to attach and remove compatible saddle bags and other accessories by Selle Royal with just one click.
