Brooks Cambium C19 Carved All-Weather City Saddle

Designed for many years of intensive use, the durable Cambium C19 All-Weather touring and city saddle from Brooks is engineered for water resistance and a high level of comfort thanks to its wide profile. On the Carved model, the saddle cover also features a lengthwise oval opening in the perineal area to relieve pressure. The recess in the cover is designed to reduce uncomfortable pressure points whilst increasing the saddle’s flexibility. With the Cambium range, Brooks combines traditional design with modern manufacturing technologies to produce stylish and durable saddles.

The basis is the double-strut construction between the nose of the saddle and the rear support structure, made of glass-fibre-reinforced polyamide. The suspended, flexible saddle shell, made of vulcanised rubber, supports the rider’s weight in an upright sitting position using the hammock principle, and provides immediate comfort without the need for breaking in – a level of comfort otherwise only found in classic spring-suspended leather saddles. The abrasion-resistant polyamide saddle cover is robust and weather-resistant. The retro look is also evident here in the bolted-on rear section with eyelet-fitted seat rails for a tool bag or accessories.
