Ritchey Comp Butano V2 Gravel Handlebar Di2

Named after the trails and roads of Butano State Park near Tom Ritchey's house, the Comp Butano V2 dropbar is a tribute to the early days of off-road and mixed-terrain cycling - and that's exactly what Ritchey designed these gravel bars to handle. Version 2 comes with extended cable routing and ergonomic improvements. These handlebars still feature fantastic steering control and excellent comfort qualities.

The Comp Butano is now optimally prepared for the cleanest possible appearance and the internal laying of hoses, lines and cables. An opening on the clamping surface of the handlebar even allows you to install the cables directly in the stem and so they don’t affect the appearance of your cockpit. Another innovation compared to its predecessor is the flattened Ergo-Aero tube profile at the upper handlebar, which offers a pleasant grip and balanced pressure distribution thanks to its large contact area. The backsweep has also been slightly increased and thus optimised for the most comfortable hand position possible.

Ritchey has also further developed the geometry of the Comp Butano, with more of a focus on gravel riding. The drop was reduced a bit and the flare increased to 18°. This means that you can still be fast in the lower handlebar position and have a lot of control when it comes to off-road riding. At the same time, signs of fatigue can be reduced and you are given a more ergonomic hand position at the hoods. Since the drop flare also increases the distance between the handlebar ends, there is more space for a handlebar bag - perfect for bikepacking!
