The LOCKMAXX CL 85-HD especially wins points with high security and full flexibility for securing objects. As opposed to conventional folding locks, the ROSE chain lock is not locked with an attached pin at the end of the chain. Such a pin often only engages on one side in the lock body via a flat groove, which makes life easier for thieves.
The LOCKMAXX locks the chain completely in the chain link by means of a solid locking bolt, thus using the entire material thickness of the hardened special steel as resistance. Similar to a chain with a separate U-lock. The only difference is that you can’t lose the bolt mechanism of the CL 85-HD, as it is directly connected to the hardened steel chain and protected by the lock body.
The insertion opening for the chain link can be rotated 360° so that it can be closed easily from all directions after it has been inserted through the frame. The lock body lies comfortably in your hand and is easy to use despite its weight. The chain has a paint-friendly coating and is long enough to be connected to a bike stand or lantern.
Handling is also made easier by the fact that it can be closed without a key. The round bar conveniently springs out of the guide when the lock is opened with a key. For securing objects, you can simply push it in again and it locks automatically. The precisely fitting cover cap protects the locking cylinder from dirt and moisture.
ROSE's LOCKMAXX CL 85-HD chain lock is recommended for all high-quality bikes where the extra weight in favour of higher theft protection does not restrict the riding enjoyment, such as city bikes and e-bikes.
