Thanks to its flat profile, there is still enough storage space in the backpack for extra clothing, food etc., even with a protector! 

The approximately 22 litre volume of the freeride backpack is cleverly divided: You can keep your tools and accessories well organised in the storage compartments provided so that everything is still in place during the break. Speaking of breaks: The backpack can also be used with a hydration system so that you don't have to stop for long periods of time (optionally available, e.g. prod. code: 2351404). Last but not least, this mountain bike backpack is bursting with comfort: The wide hip fins fit snugly thanks to the elasticated strap and mesh insert for an ideal fit on every bend, while the tried-and-tested AIRSTRIPES back system provides the necessary ventilation on hot rides.

In the EL version, the carrying system of this backpack is approx. 6 - 9 cm longer than the standard versions of the same model. The higher space requirement also means that the volume is a little larger. This means that this backpack can be carried comfortably by people between 1.85 and 2 metres tall.

The protector is therefore ideal for high-intensity activities where you want to be well protected but don't want to sacrifice freedom of movement.

deuter AIRSTRIPES SYSTEM:
In every riding situation, a bike backpack has to fit firmly on the back. The reduced contact surface of the Airstripes padding with ventilation channels ensures maximum air circulation with a compact, snug fit at the same time. What’s more, the weight is held closely to the body at all times. Centrifugal forces can hardly act and the backpack cannot swing out. Anatomic shoulder straps guarantee high freedom of movement. The chest strap can be adjusted with one hand and reliably keeps the shoulder straps in position. Mesh hip fins ensure a snug fit in any riding situation. The construction of the Airstripes pads made up of a tight and a soft foam layer ensures high comfort and best load distribution.

GRÜNER KNOPF (“GREEN BUTTON”):
The German textile seal GRÜNER KNOPF (“Green Button”) identifies textiles that meet high social and environmental standards.
