27,5 instead of 26 inches – the new wheel size offers an excellent compromise for a versatile and uncomplicated bike. Our ROSE COUNT SOLO 1 impresses with superior handling and a high-performance frame made from durable aluminium that weighs no more than 1300 grams. Equipped with the proven Mavic Crossride FTS-X wheel set, the COUNT SOLO 1 is a true all-rounder. The advantages of its 27,5” wheels are a smoother running and a better roll-over behaviour. Reliable Shimano Deore brakes are a perfect complement. With 180 mm and 160 mm large brake discs, they are robust and uncomplicated and provide a safe deceleration.
27,5 inches – this is the new wheel size for all those looking for an agile, quick-accelerating and versatile bike. Our COUNT SOLO 1 impresses with superior handling and a high-performance frame made from durable aluminium. Equipped with a Rock Shox Recon Gold TK Solo Air suspension fork, it offers best suspension performance on every ground. The Recon features a 15 mm thru axle and a travel of 100 mm. Thanks to its aluminium crown and 32 mm upper fork tubes, it is torsionally stiff and yet a real lightweight. The drivetrain consists of Shimano’s SLX components so that you can also rely on top quality and impressing performance in the entry-level sector. A special highlight is the SLX rear derailleur that features the Shadow Plus technology where the cage plate hides behind the frame. In this way, it is well protected from damages through rocks, roots or benches!
With a weight of a mere 10 kilograms and high-quality parts, the COUNT SOLO 2 offers top performance at a top price. It’s already a challenge to develop a bike specced like this, but we used this motivation to design an affordable bike with racing genes. The essential part of every mountain bike is its suspension fork, as it significantly contributes to a bike’s character. That’s why a great DT Swiss OPM ODL fork with a travel of 100 mm has been used at the front. It comes with one-piece magnesium lower fork tubes, the high-performance air suspension system NCS and a 15 mm thru axle and thus weighs a mere 1585 grams. A state-of-the-art manufacturing process for the magnesium casting could get the most out of weight and stiffness. And the shifting system of the COUNT SOLO 2 is also of highest quality: The complete drivetrain bears the label XT. Shimano’s top groupset offers latest technology, great performance and a low weight – you’ll only have to pedal on your own!
Nippy, versatile and precisely tailored to the needs of ambitious racers – the ROSE COUNT SOLO 3 comes with a whole sackful of highlights. The wheels of this racer alone offer full performance. With the XR 1501 Spline One, DT Swiss has developed a wheel set for use in competitions that stands out for the proven high quality of the Swiss manufacturer, as well as for a light and precise welding method. The hubs of the wheels are also developed by DT Swiss and characterized by their unusual shape which allows the use of Straight Pull spokes. Unlike traditional spokes, this design comes without a sensitive elbow. Inside the hub, there’s a patented ratchet freewheel with sprockets that offer highest durability and reliability. Like all DT rims, the XR 1501 is already “tubeless ready” and offers torsion-resistant thru axles with a diameter of 15 and 12 mm for the front and rear. The aggressive SRAM Guide RS brakes feature 180 mm and 160 mm discs and can be precisely controlled. The SwingLink technology offers optimal braking power modulation. Lever pivot bearings reduce the dead part of the stroke when operating the lever for an even more direct braking.
