Handlebar plugs are located on the two outer ends of a bicycle’s handlebar. These plugs protect the bike from dirt, which could get into the inside of the handlebar otherwise. Handlebar plugs are either plugged into the handlebar, but sometimes also screwed into it, in order to have a better hold. Therefore, these plugs also protect the handlebar from damage, for example in the case of a downfall. They are usually sold in a set of two.
