ORTLIEB BACK-ROLLER XL PLUS QL2.2 Set consisting of Two Panniers

With the ORTLIEB XL BACK-ROLLER XL PLUS panniers you can easily plan a longer tour. With a capacity of 70 + 8 litres (pair), you have plenty of storage space in these bike bags. Equipped with the QL2.2 fastening system, the bags fit all standard luggage carriers. The hooks are infinitely adjustable without any tools or inserts and allow a load of up to 12.5 kg (per) bag – around 3.5 kg more than the previous QL2.1 system. 

As you would expect from ORTLIEB panniers, these XL panniers are made from durable and weatherproof material, in this version from hard-wearing CORDURA. Together with the practical roll-top closure, this keeps your luggage protected from the elements. You can store your extra shoes, jacket or helmet within easy reach in the front pocket. By the way: For the really big tour, these bags can be ideally combined with the ORTLIEB RACK-PACK (24 l or 31 l).

Note:

Highlights & Technologies:

CORDURA:
Polyamide fibres guarantee high robustness and abrasion resistance. A brushed surface gives the material a pleasant grip. The fabric is fast-drying and extremely hard-wearing.

QUICK-LOCK2.2:
The bicycle bag mounting system QL2.2 is based on the proven QL2.1 system, but is even more flexible in crucial spots when it comes to adapting to the wide variety of luggage racks.
• Comfortable single-handed operation
• The Quick-Lock hooks with anti-scratch function can be adapted to different tube diameters from 10 – 16mm
• For optimal stability the upper hook rail comes in a single-piece design, yet it can be adjusted to fit the either side of the rack on Office-Bag and Downtown models
• A special tightening technique allows the use of particularly flat nut washers on the inside. This makes it almost flat and protects the goods being transported
• The lower hook rail consists of a two-component plastic with anti-scratch function. The contact surfaces are soft to reduce rubbing against the rack tube. The lower hook rail is rotatable in 15-degree steps and adjustable in height.
• All hooks may be adjusted without tools and replaced within seconds
• The upper rail is compatible with optional theft protection systems
