With the Granite Chief 1, the trail fun begins: 150 mm of travel can take a lot and the bike’s touring qualities are excellent. A well-developed frame concept meets great features: solid, robust and best functionality. The “Rock Shox Monarch RT3” rear shock has been especially tailored to our requirements and to the Chief. It stands out for its high versatility and its sensitive response. The wheels of the Swiss manufacturer DT Swiss should also be mentioned. The M 1900 Spline is a high-quality system wheelset par excellence: perfectly made, light and with aerodynamic spokes they upgrade the Granite Chief 1.
When it goes up and down, when you follow your nose, go wherever the road leads you, the Granite Chief is in its element. A weight of 12,9 kilograms provides best touring and uphill qualities without forgetting the downhill fun. For this, you have the new excellent “Rock Shox Pike RC” suspension fork with a travel of 150 mm at the front. It is a perfect compromise between low weight and convincing performance and, thanks to 35 mm upper fork tubes, it also is extremely torsion-resistant. Two “Formula RX” brakes stop the Chief, at the front there’s the large 203 mm rotor, at the rear it’s a 180 mm one. The disc brake combines a radial main brake cylinder with a brake caliper made from one piece and thus provides brute force and good braking power modulation.
It is the all-round genius on the trail and always up for fun due to 120 mm travel at the front and 130 mm at the rear. It is a real eye-catcher at that, pimped with exclusive orange anodised parts of the Spank company. The Oozy wheelset sets not only coloured accents, but also new standards in terms of stiffness. The spokes are double butted to save weight and to ensure great stability. The other features are also convincing, such as the extremely reliable and easy to maintain “Rock Shox Reba RLT Solo Air” suspension fork. It has the chassis of the “Rock Shox SID” race fork which makes it 100 grams lighter. However, it is robust enough to even cope with rough track which is why it is at home in every terrain.
No compromises - no ten kilograms. We’ve put everything good and expensive into the THRILL HILL 3. Starting with a 1900 grams light carbon frame, through to feathery Mavic Crossmax SLR wheels. Shifting is done with the crème de la crème of gearshift manufacturing, SRAM’s XX1 offers eleven ingenious gears and a minimum of weight. At the front, a Rock Shox SID RLT Solo Air flattens everything that comes in its way. The Uncle Jimbo 2 is the classic enduro bike. 160 mm of travel at the front and 165 mm at the rear provide great riding pleasure, as well as the light frame weight of 2,9 kilograms and the drive-neutral rear stay do. The suspension fork used is a real legend, the newly developed Rock Shox Pike. A perfect fork for the trail: lightweight, very torsion-resistant and extremely powerful. For a better uphill performance, the fork features the Dual Position Air which makes it lowerable by 30 mm using a lever. The exclusive Spank Parts set colourful highlights. Handlebar, stem, link and saddle clamp are well-matched. They are accompanied by the “Spank Spike” wheelset which is weight-optimised and yet extremely robust thanks to double butted spokes.
Oversized wheels and yet weighing only about ten kilograms: The COUNT SOLO 2 is a declaration of war. The high-quality frame made of AL 6066 makes this possible and the lightweight M1700 Spline wheels do their bit. The system wheels are of an extremely high quality, no wonder, after all they are made by DT Swiss! Hand-crafted Conti Race King tyres in the light sport edition top off the wheel set. The Shimano Deore XT rear derailleur ensures lightning-fast and precise shifting. Its Shadow profile is extremely narrow to significantly reduce the risk of damages through stones, roots or similar. Besides, the stiffness to weight ratio has been further improved due to the “X Shape” of the outer plate.
